How a smile is built.
Every treatment plan is individual. The Frenchy Smiles process may include consultation and assessment, design and treatment planning, treatment and provisional care when appropriate, final placement, and individualized aftercare. Examinations, procedures, materials, visits, and timing vary by patient. The four stages below are typical, and the All-on-4 implant process is described at the end.

Your consultation
and smile assessment.
The day the work starts.
X-rays and diagnostic images are taken so Dr. Dave can evaluate your teeth, bite, bone structure, and overall oral health. He can then begin mapping out treatment and designing a smile around your individual needs.
A patient advocate or treatment coordinator explains the recommended treatment and financial investment and helps explore monthly payment options if needed.
We believe your time matters. When possible, patients can begin the process during the consultation, including scans, preliminary imaging, or other diagnostic steps — especially valuable for patients traveling from outside Georgia.
Your smile is
handcrafted.
There is no one-size-fits-all smile.
Diagnostic scans allow Dr. Dave to begin creating a smile specifically for you. Smile design considers function, alignment, bite, tooth width, length, proportions, edges, and how much of each tooth is visible when speaking, smiling, and at rest.
He also considers facial features, complexion, smile, personal preferences, and aesthetic goals.
There are no veneers sitting on a shelf waiting to be selected. Each restoration is individually designed for the person receiving it. Two people with similar teeth may have completely different smile designs.
Just as a home can be custom-designed around the family who will live in it, your smile is designed around the person who will wear it.
Your temporary
smile.
You wear it before you own it.
Once the veneer design has been developed and preparation is complete, you will leave wearing a customized temporary set of teeth.
You typically wear the temporary smile for approximately one to two weeks, giving you time to evaluate the shape, length, proportions, and overall aesthetic before final veneers are completed.
Your final veneers are placed.
After the temporary smile has been evaluated and the design finalized, you return for your final veneers, typically within approximately two to three weeks. They are individually crafted based on the approved design and the specific characteristics of your smile.
You return for a short review afterward so Dr. Dave can confirm that your bite has settled and adjust anything that needs it. After that, your smile is cared for the way natural teeth are, with cleanings twice a year at the same practice.
The full-arch implant process.
For an All-on-4 dental implant smile, the process begins with a CT scan to evaluate bone structure and implant support. Dr. Dave then begins the smile-design process, considering both function and aesthetics.
On procedure day, the necessary teeth are removed and implants are placed to support the new smile. Healing teeth are secured in place so you can leave with teeth while the implants heal.
As the implants integrate with the jawbone through osseointegration, the mouth heals and the implants become securely anchored. Once healing is complete, you return for your final set of teeth, made from zirconia, a durable material known for its natural appearance and stain resistance.
The final teeth are securely attached to the implants and do not require traditional denture adhesive, creating a fixed smile designed to look and function as naturally as possible.
Typically four to six weeks.
From the first consultation to the day the final veneers are placed, the process typically takes four to six weeks. Most of that time is spent wearing a temporary smile you can live a normal life in, while your final porcelain is being made. Timing varies from patient to patient.
