Questions & Answers

Your questions, answered.

These are the ten questions the practice is asked most often, answered by the practice itself. Anything not covered here can be discussed with Dr. Dave at your consultation.

01

What is the difference between composite and porcelain veneers?

Porcelain veneers offer a more natural-looking, durable, and long-lasting result. They are also highly stain-resistant and designed to maintain their appearance over time. Composite veneers are typically more economical, but they are not as durable or stain-resistant and may require more maintenance. Porcelain veneers are an investment in you and your smile, designed to provide the most natural-looking result available.

02

What is the difference between a single-tooth implant and All-on-4®?

A single-tooth implant is designed to replace one missing tooth. A titanium implant post is placed into the jawbone and supports a custom crown that is securely fixed in place.

All-on-4® is a full-arch treatment designed for patients with multiple damaged, failing, or missing teeth. Teeth that are no longer serving the patient may be removed, and strategically placed implants provide support for a complete arch of replacement teeth that is securely fixed in place. This approach is designed to restore both function and aesthetics while supporting the jawbone. It truly combines the best of both worlds: function and a beautiful, complete smile.

03

Do you perform emergency tooth extractions?

Yes. We provide tooth extractions when clinically appropriate. An X-ray and review of your medical history are required before treatment. The doctor will evaluate the tooth and determine whether an extraction is appropriate. Treatment options and pricing can then be reviewed with you after your examination.

04

Do you offer a warranty on your prostheses?

Yes. We offer a 20-year warranty on qualifying prostheses when they are used under normal conditions and proper care. Every situation must be evaluated by our team to determine whether it falls within the terms of the warranty. An in-office assessment may be required.

05

Do you offer monthly payment options?

Yes. We offer several financing options designed to make recommended treatment more manageable. Available options include CareCredit, Alphaeon, Proceed, Cherry, and Sunbit. Application links are available on our website so you can apply directly. Financing information can also be provided before your appointment so you can better prepare for your treatment.

06

Is a consultation required before seeing the doctor?

Yes. Every new patient receives a consultation with our doctor. We may take necessary X-rays and complete a comprehensive evaluation so we can develop treatment recommendations based on your individual dental needs.

07

Is treatment refundable?

Treatment is non-refundable. Once treatment is selected and the patient chooses to move forward with the design or treatment process, a non-refundable deposit is collected to secure the patient’s appointment and reserved time on the doctor’s schedule. Our team will review the applicable financial terms before treatment begins.

08

Do you offer sedation for nervous or anxious patients?

Yes. We offer oral sedation for patients who experience dental anxiety or nervousness. Our goal is to make your visit as comfortable and stress-free as possible. If you are interested in sedation, please let our front office team know when scheduling your appointment so we can discuss the appropriate options.

09

Do you offer same-day treatment?

In many cases, yes. Depending on your treatment needs, clinical evaluation, and the doctor’s schedule, same-day treatment may be available. If same-day care is important to you, please let our front desk team know when booking your appointment so we can do our best to accommodate you.

10

Can I learn about financing before my appointment?

Absolutely. We encourage patients who are considering treatment to review available financing options before their appointment. Our team can provide information about available monthly payment options so you can understand your choices and feel financially prepared to move forward with your recommended smile treatment.
